Last Monday was Baby Nana's Birthday! Happy Belated Birthday, we love you!
G-man also had his very first dentist appointment last week. Heidi showed him how "Thirsty Charlie" worked and when she turned on "Mr. Sunshine" she let him wear some sunglasses. Gavin cooperated by opening his mouth when told to do so and Dr. Einerson was able to count 8 teeth on top and 10 on the bottom and told us that Gavin has very nice spacing. We plan to return in 6 months to have our first cleaning so we'll see how that goes. We also have some fluoride tablets to take every other night to keep our teeth healthy and strong. When he was all finished, he was able to pick out a special prize...which we sleep with every night now. Mommy was very proud of her little man, such a big boy. I would have pictures to post but he was sitting on my lap.
On Thursday night, Gavin went fishing and caught his first big catch all by himself-a nice sunfish. We went down to Turtle Lake to have a picnic with Ellie's Cousins who were visiting from New Mexico. G-man had a good time with John-John and even shared his Papa with him...now that means a lot!
