Gavin has to be the sweetest big brother ever. The other day he told me that he was excited because it was Breck's very first Christmas. I asked him what we should do to make it extra special for our newest family remember and he replies, "Let's just keep hugging each other every single day!" I love this kid!

We did something new this year and cut down our own tree. It is absolutely lovely! Gavin requested colorful lights and candy canes, so that it was! Those along with the two dozen or so handmade decorations and I couldn't have a prettier tree. It is much more meaningful than those beautiful trees that you can find perfectly decorated in your local department store.
