Gavin was going to have a sleepover at Nana & Papa's house on Saturday so Nate and I thought we would enjoy an afternoon of boating around the Chain of Lakes. We have hardly been able to use our boat this summer and it was going to be our special "date night." Little did we know that there would we would leave Lake L'Homme Dieu 4 hours later without a boat ride together...this is how it all went down:
-very windy, hard time unloading the boat
-get the boat in the water but have a hard time getting the truck/trailer out
-get the truck/trailer out and notice "flat as pancake" tire on trailer
-no spare tire on trailer and boat in water
-I had to drive the boat over to Bug-A-Boo Bay (bad idea)
-Nate went in search of a new tire
The result?
A borrowed tire from my dad's wood splitter and a new prop needed for our boat (oops!)
