We are pleased to announce that we have been blessed with another beautiful neice. Josie Francine was born to my sister and brother-in-law last Friday morning at 6:33am. Josie weighed in at 10 lbs, 6 oz and measured 21 inches long. Her first name comes from a combination of great grandmas and great great grandmas...Josephine and Frances. She also shares a birthday with her oldest cousin on the Betterman side as well as my mom's mom. Ellie is a very proud big sister who doesn't take her job lightly. Gavin is infatuated with "Baby Jose" and is so gentle and sweet to her.
I prayed and prayed for a safe delivery and a healthy baby for my sister for months. When Ellie was born, she was whisked away by helicopter and was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect hours later. Angie wasn't able to see her or hold her until she was discharged from the hospital the next afteroon. It was a whirlwind! My prayers were answered and our family is feeling very blessed with this precious new addition. We love you Miss Josie!

She is beautiful. Your family picture is so gorgeous, and you look so thin! I think Ellie is glowing in her pic with Josie (her little twin) :) Thanks for sharing your pictures for us long distance friends!!
