As if we didn't have nearly enough excitement and changes around our house this year, the month of November only lead us to more. After ten years with Fastenal Company, Nate accepted a position with the a new company! I couldn't be more proud of him. He doesn't enjoy "change" but then again, who does? He left everything he has known for the last ten years to embark on an exciting new journey. And, he did it mostly for our family. You see, for the last five years, he has spent an hour and an half of each work day commuting 96 miles to and from work. He had an opportunity to open and manage his own branch in the small town of Morris, MN five years ago and has done an outstanding job. But, it wasn't fun for him anymore. The drive was wearing on him, the stress was taking a toll on his health, and his heart wasn't in it anymore. It was time for something new. When I broke my leg, he realized that the time was now. It's amazing to see God's plans unfold right before your eyes!
He has a 9.5 mile drive to work each day (one way).
He is learning something new that he is really excited about.
He has amazing potential to succeed in his new position.
He is surrounded by positive people in a great environment.
He can help with dropping off and picking up Gavin from daycare.
He can bring Gavin to pre-school on his lunch hour.
We are no longer a 3 car family! Bye-bye T-cam!
There are many more positives to this change but the best part is that....
Gavin and I get an extra hour and a half of each day to spend with him!
